Chicken Florentine

I use chicken breast that I boil and shred, but you can also use canned shredded chicken if you prefer. This casserole is creamy and comforting, and the toasty breadcrumbs gives it the perfect crunch!

Ingredients

  • 3 CupsShredded Chicken Breast
  • 1 PackageCream Spinach
  • 1/2 CupGreat Value Mayo
  • 2 TbspSweet Cream I Can't Believe It's Not Butter
  • 1/2 CupGreat Value Plain Bread Crumbs
  • 2 CupsDry Great Value Elbow Noodles
  • 1 CanGreat Value Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 2 CupsGreat Value Swiss Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 TspGarlic Powder
  • 1/2 TspBlack Pepper
  • 1/4 CupDried Basil
  • 1/2 TspDried Thyme

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Cook macaroni according to package directions
  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine chicken, soup, cheese, spinach, mayonnaise, basil, garlic powder, thyme and pepper
  4. Drain macaroni
  5. Gently stir into chicken mixture
  6. Transfer to an ungreased 2-1/2 qt baking dish
  7. Toss bread crumbs and butter
  8. Sprinkle over casserole
  9. Bake, uncovered, until bubbly, 40-45 minutes
