Cinnamon Pecan Crumble Baked Pears

Ingredients

  • 4 Pears, ripe but firm (Bosc or Bartlett)
  • 2 tsp. Melted light butter or coconut oil
  • 2 tsp. Maple syrup or sugar-free syrup
  • ½ tsp. Cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

For the Pecan Crumble:

  • 6 tbsp. Old-fashioned oats
  • 4 tbsp. Finely chopped pecans (about ½ cup whole pecans before chopping)
  • 2 tbsp. Almond flour (or extra oats if you don’t have it)
  • 2 tsp. Maple syrup (or sugar-free syrup)
  • 2 tsp. Light butter, melted
  • ½ tsp. Cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F .
  2. Slice pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the cores to make small wells.
  3. Arrange pears cut side up in a large baking dish. Brush with 2 tsp. melted butter and drizzle with 2 tsp. syrup.
  4. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon and a pinch of salt if desired.
  5. In a bowl, mix oats, chopped pecans, 2 tsp. maple syrup, 2 tsp. melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  6. Spoon the crumble mixture evenly into the center of each pear half.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until pears are tender and the topping is golden.
  8. Cool slightly, then serve!
  9. Optional: top with Greek yogurt or light whipped topping and a sprinkle of extra pecans.
