Did you know you can make corn on the cob in less time than it takes to boil water on the stove? Give this one a try!
Serves
1
Ingredients
1 ear of corn
Directions
Trim off the stalk flush with the base and cut in half if you want smaller portions. Leave the husks on, just removing the silk if there is a lot.
Place ears on the trivet of your instant pot, standing upright if possible, but it won’t hurt them to lay down.
Add 1.5 cups of water in a 6-quart Instant Pot or 2 cups in an 8-quart.
Set the pressure valve to Sealing and the timer to 3 minutes on High Pressure. When finished, you can either Quick Release - be aware of the hot steam - or just allow a Natural Release.
When cool enough to handle, remove the husks and serve with your favorite proteins, some butter, salt/pepper/ seasoning to taste.
You can also cook ahead and use in dishes like corn salsa, summer corn salad, or a fun side dish of air fryer corn ribs!
